It’s just not supposed to be like this…

Some days you wake up like the daffodils outside your door under six inches of snow and think…it’s not supposed to be like this! It’s one of those days.

So give it up people, leave some comments – show some love!  I accept all forms of flattery even false.

  1. I think the whole world is f#cked up lately.

    Global warming?

And my comment the other day was NOT false flattery. You really do look 16 in that photo. Learn to accept a compliment girl.

  2. We got some of that here too although not quite as much. Makes using crutches very interesting.

  3. Just remember the crushing weight of snow isn’t enough to bring down the daffodil for long. Or one of my favorite metaphorical sayings..”this too shall pass”

Oh btw.. nice tummy lady! 🙂

  4. Nope, it’s not. Friggin’ snow!

  5. I feel you. I am so ready for some sun and sand. I don’t remember ever feeling this much of a need for the cold weather to end.

  6. the weather is broken. it’s a beautiful picture of a daffodil coming up through the show, but it’s just so WRONG!

and, the thing of it is, what you need right now is sunshine. warmth and the feeling of sun on your face, seeping in right down to your bones. it will come. and so will the distance that lets you get a perspective on loss.

  7. What Elizabeth said. Exactly. Thank you.

The weather is indeed broken. Won’t be fixed in our lifetime. Let’s watch it, note it, since attention means respect.

  8. how ironic, that picture…. it’s like death and life simultaneously (spelling?) as in reality, does always exist side by side. but life wins as it pokes through and shows it’s beauty regardless.

  9. I can tell that this is not the first time at all that you mention this topic. Why have you decided to touch it again?
